I have tried everything I can find on a client machine running Windows 10 Pro x64 and Office apps installed. There are multiple users that use a machine with a common Windows logon due to Point of Sale software but then I have 2 Outlook profiles that users select from to open their email and I need to force the password prompt every time. When I type in the password, I an not selecting to remember the password either. Outlook is not using cache mode so there is no OST file for offline browsing so I cannot figure out how Outlook remembers the password since it should prompt and if I cancel, then Outlook closes since it cannot open mailbox.
I have basically given up on using the multiple profiles with Outlook since the only way to force the password is either waiting a while after closing Outlook or closing Outlook and immediately opening the other profile which then caches the password and seems to overwrite the other profile information.
I am just telling the client that everyone needs to have their own AD account to use instead of using the public accounts originally setup since these are Point of Sale workstations.
